Many methods can be used to calculate the heart rate on an ECG paper, but not only you will be exposed to those methods, but also to the easier methods to make rapid calculations will be discussed. Some of the methods won’t be applied to certain conditions when there is an irregular heart rate such as in cases of atrial fibrillation, thus you will be also taught how to calculate the heart rate is such ECGs.
